Maid of Honor - Shana
I only have one sister, so it makes sense that she should be my Maid of Honor. We each have gone through so much in our lives and have always been there for one another. Though we may fuss and fight, like all sisters do, there are few people on this planet that I know who love and support me like she does.
Bridesmaid – Heather
When Heather and I first met, we both wondered if we had met in a past life. We had so much in common and we could tell each other everything. Often times, we didn’t have to because we were already thinking the same thing. We have seen each other through raising our sons, graduations, bad relationships and finally love. She will be one of my life-long friends.
Bridesmaid – Christine
Christine and I have a friendship that has spanned the country. We met when I was an undergrad at a university in Kentucky. I just trekked over 3,000 miles with my high school boyfriend without knowing anyone. She is an incredibly strong woman, who I continue to learn from. She was my first friend in Kentucky and remains one of my dearest today. An amazing person whose family I have come to view as my own.
Kenneth – Best Man
Alex and Kenneth have been friends throughout the years. Although in different states, there friendship has not diminished. They still spend hours on the phone on Sundays rehashing football games strategies, music and whatever else. Ken is a great friend.
Patrick - Groomsmen
Another lifelong friend of Alex, and a professional chef to boot, Patrick will stand up for him as well. Also engaged, we can’t wait to witness Patrick make a commitment of marriage to his lovely fiancée.
Laron – Groomsman
Laron and Alex have seen each other through the births of their children. Alex stood in Laron’s wedding to the beautiful, Nicole. It only makes sense that Laron would have a place of distinction in our wedding.
Colden & Tia – Junior Groomsman and Junior Bridesmaid
My son and cousin will read a selection for our wedding.
